Created in 2014, this award is given annually to a recent graduate who models the spirit and values of The Rivers School as set forth in our mission statement. Through professional, academic, and/or volunteer roles, the recipient has demonstrated leadership, excellence in his/her chosen career, and an interest in and commitment to serving others.
Qualifications:
• The recipient will be a living example of Excellence with Humanity.
• The recipient will have graduated in the past 16 years.
• Members of the Young Alumni Achievement Award Committee are ineligible recipients.
Selection Process:
Each spring, nominations are solicited from graduates, class agents and faculty to be reviewed by the Young Alumni Achievement Award Committee. From the list of nominees, the committee will select the final recipient(s). The final recipient of the award will speak to the Rivers student body at an all school assembly in the fall.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING NOMINATIONS IS OCTOBER 30.
All nominations are kept on file for three years following the year in which they are originally considered. Nominators are encouraged to update nomination materials after three years, if applicable.
