Students Win a Dozen SISAL Awards

 

This year’s show is being hosted by Brimmer and May School, and is open to the public next week from April 23-27. The reception and awards ceremony is next Friday, April 27, from 5:00-6:30 p.m. All artwork submitted is on display, so in addition to Rivers’ award winning artworks, another 25 artworks by Rivers students are included in the show. In total, 15 schools participated including Roxbury Latin, Bancroft, BU Academy, Worcester, Falmouth, Dedham Country Day, and Dexter-Southfield.

 

“Our student artists achieved notable success, earning recognition in a variety of media in both the two and three dimensional arts,” commented Chair of the Visual Arts Department David Saul. “We are pleased that students from our Middle School right up through our senior students were honored for their creative expression. Congratulations to all of our participating student artists!”
