The awards ceremony took place Sunday at Falmouth Academy. This year’s competition drew from nearly 600 submissions from more than a dozen independent schools throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Among the 22 awards were seven first-place prizes, two second-place prizes, four third-place prizes, and nine honorable mentions.

“The SISAL event represents a great chance for students to showcase their artistic talents beyond the gallery walls of our school,” art department chair David Saul said. “I’m truly impressed that so many of our student artists have been awarded prizes in such a diverse array of media.”
