Two current Rivers seniors and twenty-five members of the Class of 2006 received honors from the College Board in recognition of their outstanding academic performance on the college-level Advanced Placement (AP) exams in 2006.
AP Scholar Award The following students qualified for the AP Scholar Award by completing three or more AP Exams, with grades of 3 or higher. The AP Scholars are: Zachary Bain '06, attending Bates College; Tara Davidson '06, attending Colby College; Parth Desai '06, attending Boston College; Benjamin Donahue '06, attending University of Colorado at Boulder; Meryl Gold '06, attending University of Rochester; Erika Gorman '06, attending George Washington University; Stephanie Mann '06, attending Occidental College; Adam Mason '06, attending University of Colorado; Samuel Perrone '06, attending Tufts University, and Steven Rizoli, Rivers Class of 2007.
AP Scholar with Honor Award The following students qualified for the AP Scholar with Honor Award by earning an average grade of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and grades of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams. These students are: Jonathan Miller '06, attending Tufts University; Katherine Muto, Rivers Class of 2007; and Kara Sullivan '06, attending Bates College.
AP Scholar with Distinction Award The following students qualified for the AP Scholar with Distinction Award by earning an average grade of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken, and grades of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams.
