Chloe Yang teaches all levels of Mandarin in the Upper School. She came to Rivers from Miami Valley School in Ohio. Prior to that, she was the head of the Mandarin program at the Stamford American International School in Singapore. Chloe has also taught Mandarin at Chadwick School in California and Hawken School in Ohio and was the coordinator for the Mandarin program in the Amherst Public Schools. Chloe earned both a BA and an MA in literature from Heilongjiang University in China. She completed graduate courses in second language acquisition at Boston University and in educational administration at Columbia University Teachers College.
